Yamba beneficiaries are orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC’s). While some children have parents but are vulnerable, most of the children have lost either one or both of their parents. They are either single or double orphans. It is so unfortunate that there are families that do not have a bread-winner completely and are child-headed.

Yamba identifies the right beneficiaries for the programs by visiting their homes first before they are registered. Then they’re registered using our Vulnerability Assesment Tool (VAT) from (OVC MIS), they are either enrolled or not after implementing this tool which measures levels of vulnerability. Our beneficiaries are supported through Yamba Child help programs such as Child sponsorship, After-school program, Food & Nutrition, and Summer Camp program.
