So many children live under the care of their grandparents. Young girls at the age of 13 years drop-out of school because of lack of school fees and supplies and opt for early marriages. After they have got children, they do not know what to do with them only to neglect them and leave them with their grandparents. Besides, HIV/AIDS has claimed the lives of so many young people which leaves many children orphans with no parents to take care of them.

This has increased the burden of grandparents taking care of so many grandchildren.
